Why are there no child voices available?
Custom voices cannot be created to sound like children. AI voice providers generally restrict child voices because of safety and ethical concerns around synthetic voices that sound like minors.
A common restriction across AI voice apps
This restriction comes from the underlying AI voice services, not a technical limitation of Table Read Studio. You should expect to encounter it in other apps using AI voices as well. Changing your plan will not unlock child voices.
These safeguards help protect minors from impersonation, exploitation, and other misuse of synthetic voices.
Update your voice description
Choose an adult voice and describe its tone, accent, and delivery. For example: “A woman with a warm, clear voice and an energetic delivery.”
Requests to create child voices cannot be completed. Rejected voice-generation requests do not use your app credits.
If your script includes a child character
You can use an adult voice to read the role or choose Me to read it yourself. The character can remain a child in your script; the generated voice needs to sound like an adult.
