What does “Me” mean for a character?
Me means you are taking that role in the live read. The app leaves the character’s lines for you instead of generating an AI performance.
Use it when you want to join the read
Choose Me in the character’s voice settings. When the read reaches your line, say it aloud and use the playback controls to continue. It is useful for trying a scene yourself, or for leaving a role out of AI generation while you work.
For an MP3, use AI voices
Table Read Studio’s audio download is made from generated voices. It does not capture what you said while the read was running, so your live performance will not appear in the MP3.
If you want a complete downloadable cast, change those roles to AI, select their voices, and play the remaining lines before downloading. A live read with you taking a role and a generated listening copy are different uses of the app.
