Hey there! We’re Robin and Vaiga, a developer–writer duo who turned a late-night hackathon idea into a real product.
In June, we joined the World’s Largest Hackathon with Bolt with Table Read Studio where 130,000 people took part. We were blown away when we found out we’d won an award for Uniquely Useful Tool.
Since then, we’ve kept building - polishing the UX, improving the AI performances, and pushing the app closer to the experience of a true table read.
Why we created Table Read Studio
We write screenplays, and we know how hard it can be to tell if a scene works without hearing it out loud. Sometimes you want that feedback instantly, right as you’re writing.
Vaiga is also a filmmaker, and when she requests self-tapes from actors, she often hears the same thing: they need more time because they have to find someone to read the other lines with them.
We created Table Read Studio as a tool for both actors and screenwriters.
Do we think AI actors will replace real actors?
Absolutely not. As artists, we believe AI will never replace humans. But as developers, we also believe AI can be a helpful tool that makes the creative process more efficient.
